Arrive in Santiago de Compostela

We will be departing on our journey early on the 24th, so be sure to arrive on the 23rd.

Day 1 - Group gathering in Santiago de Compostela - Train to Ourense - Start of our walk

On your first day, we will gather the group in Santiago de Compostela train station and will take a train to Ourense where we will start our walk towards Oseira Monastery.  You will take the time to reflect on the different aspects of your current situation. The exercise will take a 360-degree "polaroid" of your life and create a picture of where you now stand.

Lodging: Oseira Monastery - Single Room

Day 2 - Oseira - Exercise Connecting the dots

The second exercise is an invitation to disconnect totally and use the opportunity to dig deeper into yourself and look back in your life. What you learn from your history will help you craft your future.

Lodging: Oseira Monastery (Hospedaria) - Single room

Day 3 - Oseira to Estacion Lalín - Exercise Personal Inventory

We start today with a beautiful path between the Mediterranean maquis - a mix of trees and shrubs that don't grow much above our heads, perfect to look inside our own strengths and weaknesses. The smells can be amazing and it helps you to look inside. After a while, we reach the valley with agricultural fields and pastures and the perfect setting to look outside and to the future. The Personal Inventory exercise will help you through your own personal SWAT analysis. Lunch meets us en route with the most authentic bocadillos. We stay in a simple and most welcoming Hostal, but the real treat is our host's restaurant where we'll eat real local food, literally from the garden to the table with delicious Spanish beer.

Lodging: Lalin Estacion (Hostal) - single room

Day 4 - Estacion Lalín to Bendoiro - Exercise My ideal future

Today you will experience a visioning exercise. You will identify and describe how you idealise your life at a specific point in the future. We have a light walk through quaint villages and beautiful countryside, and sometimes the crows accompany us for a while. Bendoiro is an old Pazo, a little piece of heaven - and just the place to envision your ideal future. Here you will feel pampered - the food is an amazing cross between contemporary and classic Galician, always supported on the best local ingredients, with amazing local wines by small producers. You'll have beautiful gardens, century-old rooms with fireplaces and countless corners for you to work on your exercise.

Lodging: Pazo de Bendoiro (Rural Tourism Category A) - Twin room

Day 5 - Bendoiro to Bandeira - Exercise Purpose and outcomes

Now that you have imagined your future, you will build a bridge from your vision back to the present. This will provide you with the momentum for the decisions you must make and also the opportunity to align it with your purpose. The landscape keeps changing, but somehow the walking becomes more natural. Another beautiful country manor awaits us and in Bandeira, we will have another real food experience, just like a local.

Lodging: Casa Cacheiro (Rural Tourism Category A) - Twin room

Day 6 - Bandeira to Boqueixón - Exercise Take Responsibility

After selecting the outcomes you are committing to in the previous exercise you are ready to detail your Action Plan. This is the final kilometre of the program and also the beginning of a new stage in your life. To have a real feel of a pilgrimage, this night we sleep in a private Albergue - so you graduate as a true walker of the Camiño. We are welcomed by the owner who will also be our cook, so you should be ready for a traditional and abundant meal, just like the locals.

Lodging: Reina Lupa (Hospedaria) - Bunk Beds/ Mixed Dormitory

Day 7 - Boqueixón to Santiago de Compostela - Exercise 1,00KM

The final exercise takes place with your Action Plan already in motion. Fine-tuning and feedback loops become your new norm. Arriving in Santiago is always a riveting experience. The throbbing energy of the arriving pilgrims mixes with the fiesta of the university students and the party seems to be ongoing. Immense joy, a feeling of overcoming and satisfaction mixes with all the stimulus of countless languages, street artists and restaurants. Reaching the Obradoiro, the large plaza below the Cathedral we reach the end of our way. But our program is at its apex. We stay in a magical place just by the Obradoiro and this night the dinner is a private group event - cooked by the group, for the group - with special toasts to the new old friends you will have made along the Camiño.

Lodging: Inferniño (Twin Room)
